Why we build internal tools

Off-the-shelf analytics weren't built for multi-account operations.

Most analytics platforms are built around a single account. Our operating model — one official brand account plus four operational accounts producing daily content — generates performance data that needs to be unified across accounts before it becomes useful for decisions.

Building this unification layer internally lets us shape it around the questions our content and operations team actually need to answer.

A unified analytics layer over our advertising operations and content performance across our five TikTok brand accounts.

Purpose

Give our internal operations team unified visibility into advertising performance, Business Account content metrics, and the correlation between paid and organic content across our brand accounts.

Core Functionality

Aggregate campaign and ad-level performance data; pull Business Account video insights across our five accounts; correlate organic and paid content performance; generate internal reporting for operations.

Data Sources

TikTok Marketing API and Business Account API, accessing only advertiser accounts and Business Accounts owned and operated by Zimu Technology.

Data Usage

Internal business intelligence exclusively. Data is not shared, sold, exported, or redistributed to any external party.

Users

Internal operations and content team at Zimu Technology only. The system is not offered as a service or product to third parties.

Access Control

Restricted to authorized team members through role-based access. All API credentials and data storage are managed under our internal security policies.

Scope statement: All data accessed through TikTok APIs is sourced exclusively from accounts owned and operated by Zimu Technology. The Marketing Intelligence System is for internal use only and is not offered, licensed, or made available to any third party.
Data security & compliance

Built with platform terms and data protection in mind.

We handle all platform data in accordance with TikTok's Developer Terms of Service and applicable data protection regulations.

Access to our internal systems is restricted to authorized team members through role-based access controls. API credentials are stored in encrypted secrets management. Data is stored on infrastructure with industry-standard security practices, including encryption at rest and in transit.

We do not redistribute, resell, or share platform data with external parties. All analytics outputs from our internal systems are consumed exclusively by our internal team for operational decisions.
